Mother's Day with Evolve Cellars

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and I have some tasty suggestions for you!

When I was thinking about what to serve my mom for this Mother’s Day, I selected a fun assortment of pink bubbles, a fresh white blend, and a juicy rosé from Evolve Cellars.

In my opinion, the colours of these wines fit the theme of the special day, and beautifully complimented the grazing table my wife and I put together. You can’t go wrong with charcuterie and wine for mom!

Evolve Cellars is produced under the TIME family of wines in Penticton. Other brands under this family include the McWatters Collection and Chronos Wines.

I highly recommend supporting local this year, many Okanagan wineries have put together fun and creative Mother’s Day packs including flowers, chocolates, or candles.

With that being said, Evolve Cellars produce approachable, bright, fruit-forward, and affordable wines. These bottles are fun, easy to drink, and will compliment any picnic or charcuterie board.

2020 Pink Effervescence

70% Chardonnay, 28% Pinot Blanc, 2% Syrah

This bubbly is perfect for good times and sunshine. Sweet red berries on the nose with a hint of peach and citrus. The palate is light in body with gentle bubbles. Flavours of strawberry, raspberries, cherries, and cream. The 2% Syrah is added for the pretty pink colour. Easy going sipper for a summer afternoon. $22.99

2020 Spontaneity

50% Pinot Gris, 30% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Ortega

Life is too short not to be spontaneous. Crafted to be a light and fruity blend that’s made for the patio. Floral nose including summer blossoms, lemon, and nectarine. The palate is a mixture of zesty stone fruit, tropical fruit, and pear with a kiss of sweetness on the finish. Fresh and easy drinking on its own. $22.99

2020 Rosé

50% Syrah and 50% Merlot

Juicy, fruity, and refreshing. This rosé is ideal to enjoy with great company and charcuterie. Notes of grapefruit, cherry, and watermelon, with a slightly off-dry finish. A lovely blend of Syrah and Merlot made using the Saignée method. $22.99

I quite enjoyed all three of these wines and so did my mom! I’m excited to explore more from Evolve Cellars as they offer a wide variety of wines for just over $20.
